"— A Masterclass in Incompetence and Disrespect If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with this State Farm agency was beyond awful; it was a masterclass in incompetence, apathy, and disrespect. I urge anyone considering them for their insurance needs to read this and run the other way. The process of simply trying to obtain a home insurance policy was an absolute nightmare. For weeks, I was completely strung along with little to no communication. Then, out of the blue and without any prior notification, an inspector showed up at my home. While the inspector gave the house great remarks and noted its excellent condition, the faceless underwriting department apparently had a different opinion, leading to even more delays and confusion. Throughout this entire ordeal, the agents at this office could not have cared less. I was the one who always had to follow up. They were completely reactive and never once reached out proactively to provide an update or explain the constant delays. Getting any information was like pulling teeth. They failed to send my home loan company the necessary proof of insurance until I explicitly demanded they do so—a basic, critical step they simply ignored. The most egregious example of their negligence was how they handled my payment. I sent a check for the policy, and FedEx tracking proved it was delivered and signed for at their office on May 22nd. When I followed up, they played dumb and claimed they hadn't received it. It was only after I confronted them with the undeniable FedEx proof of delivery that they suddenly "found" it and acknowledged they had it all along. This is simply unacceptable and feels deliberately deceptive. The final straw was when they told me, with cold, dismissive disdain, that I needed to replace a perfectly fine 10-year-old roof as if it were a simple, inexpensive task. No discussion, no options, just a callous demand after weeks of wasting my time. This agency is a shambles and should honestly be investigated. Their process is designed to waste your time, and their agents treat you like an inconvenience. I can only imagine how many other people they are ripping off or causing unnecessary stress. Do yourself a favor and find an insurance agency that actually values its customers and operates with a basic level of competence and integrity."

"EDIT: After fighting them on diagnostics testing out of my pocket which is not in my policy for 2 weeks they say actually we send out Strike Check for electronics diagnostics testing all the time, strike check blew my phone up with tons of calls, voicemails, emails, texts so I had to route them to voicemail, the tech arrived way before the 2 hour window and didn't do the testing, I emailed them complaining about this then Brett Bakken sends me an email threatening police and restraining orders, and actually the technician showed up again at my house uninvited late at night and caused a disturbance. Brett even emailed me and told me to remove my review, see attached. Awful! When it's time to make a claim they kick you to the claims dept who doesn't want to pay for anything, even with a police report, photos, security footage, they want to require me to pay out of pocket for diagnostic testing which is NOT in my policy. I called them back after their below reply, and asked them what page and section of my policy is this in and they said "electronics diagnostic testing is required and out of my pocket" is NOT in my policy anywhere but that's what claims dept wants me to do. I said how can you try to enforce something that's not in my policy? They want to continue to act like the claims dept is an entirely different company and has nothing to do with them, so I guess they just want to get you a policy, take your money every month and then say it has nothing to do with them when you actually need to make a claim. They won't reply to e-mails and then say oh sorry it was in a junk folder. Sareli said I requested to cancel my policy in the "lost" e-mail when never once did I say that. They were very rude on the phone and unhelpful. Avoid State Farm at all costs!"
